So I’m Andy a tall, geeky wedding photographer from good old Lancashire. I am a devoted husband to Clare my beautiful but slightly oddball wife. We have been together for over 20 years since we were shy 16 year olds. We live with our cheeky little Shih Tzu, Barney. We lift weights, walk and explore together. That’s me and Clare, not the dog, he doesn’t like to move much.

A photographer’s style is as unique as their personality. No two are the same. I’ve always been the odd one out and i’m cool with that, i’ve never been one for the mainstream.

My passion is creative storytelling. Images that put you in the scene and ignite your imagination. What was happening, what was said and what was so funny. My experince give me the anticipation of how and where to position myself at the right moment.

I am a very relaxed person which goes really well with my style of photography, I know what it’s like to be weary in front of the camera. Being comfortable with me there is so important and the relationship we have leading up to your wedding is very important. I am often called a ninja at weddings, I hide in plain sight and move quickly which enables me to catch these moments before anyone has even noticed me there.

This is what is commonly called documentary photography which is the art of unorchestrated storytelling, on the day, with camera in hand thats what I am doing, but it’s not all that I do for my couples.

I am part of a team that is working to give you the best experience on your wedding day, so if it is helpful to take the button holes to the groom or carry a bag, if it makes your experience better, then that’s cool with me.
